We are staying at Pop Century next September, myself, DH and two DS ages then will be 5 and 4.
I managed to find this map,
http://www.kingdom-travel.com/Walt_Disney_World_Resorts/_ResortAssets/Pop_Century/Disney_Pop_Century_Resort_Map.pdf
on a website and wondered if anybody who has previously stayed there could give me some feedback on which building to stay in.
Thanks for any help.:wink
we stayed at the 90's end of the 80's building last year (if that makes sense !) it wasn't too far to walkto the bus, but was a bit of a hike to the food hall for the refillable mugs. For convenience the 60's building was in the best position - not sure if you have to pay extra for it though. Failing that I'd go for 50's or 70's. Our room overlooked the pool, which wasn't a problem noisewise, though there was some noise from guests walking past our room late at night, if your kids are light sleepers maybe ask for a quieter room away from the stairs ?
It's a balance (as always) between being near to everything or having a quiet room.
the 60's building is a "preferred" location and you'll have to pay a bit extra for the location.
We were in the 70's building - and always ask for a quiet location as we are light sleepers - we always ask for non pool facing, top floor, away from lifts and ice machine.

The 60's building is better situated for the main building and food court, however I dont really think it matters which building you are in, you will have a good time.We stayed at the 50's building facing the lake and 30 seconds from the pool and it was a superb location although it was a 3 minute walk to the main bulilding. You will have a superb time whichever room you are in :jump: :jump: :jump:
we loved the 60's building for teh 'love peace and happines' theming and the proximity to the pools, food court and buses:)
We were on the top floor I think and it was really quiet:)

Get a villa and avoid all noise, lifts ice machine etc. One of the rooms in our villa is even themed................you cant lose!
Private solitude without the baying crowds.........

We were originally supposed to be in the 70's building....I just looked at the CM and said "Disco...I hate disco!". We got a building in the 50's behind Tramp...facing the lake. So quiet and we got to see Epcot fireworks from just standing outside the door!
