Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has splashed out $200 on this and whether it is really worth it. My 3 year old is princess mad but not sure about spending that sort of money without others thoughts

Thanks Mel

We had a lovely time at the tea party last Easter. All the girls dress up and they really are treated like royalty, they are announced on the way in etc. Miss Rose Petal sings and dances and gets the girls to join in and then Sleeping Beauty arrives for while and poses for photos/autographs etc.

My DDs didn't eat much of the food (ham sandwiches, PB & J sandwiches and grapes for the kids, fancier sandwiches and cheese and crackers for the adults) but loved the whole thing. Each child is given an American Girl doll dressed as Sleeping Beauty plus a tiara and a bracelet I think. You can buy different outfits for the doll at the GF gift shop, I think they are about $25.99 each. Hopefully I will finally finish my trip reports soon and then I can post a link for you.

Hope that helps

ps It is a lot of money but our youngest DDs were too young for the dolphin swim at DC that their oldest sister did so this was their treat of the holiday and my 5 yr old rated it as the highlight of the trip, she is a big Sleeping Beauty fan!!

Hi,
Thanks for that, its sounds just as good as I thought but as usual needed a little persuasion for DH who is now going to cough up the money.

Thanks again
Mel

We did this last week, My little girl Aimee loved it, she looked so gorgeous, me and my mum did enjoy it, however the lady server we had was very rough with cups, plates ect and quite abrupt. I just slipped into the room before hand to take a couple of photos with the room empty and she nearly bit my head off. I wouldnt personally do it again, The doll is lovely quite big too.
