Fantasmic in December

Hi

I have just booked a Fantasmic dinner package for Hollywood and Vine on 22th December. The only time available was 4pm and, although there are 5 in our party, there were no tables seating 5 available. I was offered 2 separate table and accepted this option. Has anyone else done this? I'm assuming we'll be sat in adjacent tables but I'm slightly concerned in case we are at opposite ends of the restaurant.
I don't think December times have been announced yet for the Fantasmic show but does anyone (perhaps from previous experience) have any idea of what time Fantasmic is likely to start. Also, say the show starts at 8pm, do you have your meal, leave to wander around the park and return? If so, how far in advance of the show should we return?

Apologies for the ignorance - any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you wander around the Park in between then go up a special route to reserved seating for Fantasmic.

I wouldn't worry too much about the table issue; get there a bit early, they are really helpful there, I am sure they will oblige with you all (5 is not a large party) and 4pm is not a busy time in the restaurant.

Enjoy the restaurant and the food - it is a must visit every time we go!

Thanks for your response Paul - will it be made clear exactly where we should come back to? I have visions of not being able to find the entrance to the reserved seating area!!

We did the dinner package in August. We did have a large party and was made aware that we would have to be seated seperately. When we arrived we had a large table and a small table right next to each other so it was really no problem. I doubt if this will happen to you as i reackon they will be able to seat you together.

When you are seated they give you a voucher type thing which is your entrance to Fantasmic. The waiter we had explained to us exactly where we had to go. We had to arrive approx 30 minutes prior to show time. We were a little late i think we arrived about 20 minutes before and there was no problem getting a seat.

I know in August Fantasmic was at 9pm but i have never been in December so cant really help there.

Julie, if you want a later eating time they seem to release these times about 3 weeks before from what I've read.

We did the Fantasmic package in July and were seated at 4.20pm, we just exited as the parade was starting to come by. The timing was perfect as we were so full we needed a breather before any rides. Then there was time for quite a few rides as the park was quieter then, I presume while most people were eating dinner. We made our way to the 'secret' entrance to the reserved seating area about 45 mins before the show. Your server or any CM will explain how to get there and give you a ticket.
