Skull Kingdom

Is it open or is it closed ?, looking through the threads some say its closed some say its still in business ?

Anyone been lately ?

I stayed near Skull Kingdom in July. Walked past it several times and it looked like it was closed. I did not notice anybody going in or coming out of it. In fact the building looks as though it is falling into pieces

Just looked at website www.skullkingdom.com and looks like still open. Hope so cause its on my itinery. We like to be scared and sounds quite good fun. A few other threads on this and the stories of what happens in there made me laugh. Sounds scary!!:wink

I visted it 3 years ago and found it ok, but my wife was so scared by it that she refuses to go back.

Definately be prepared to be scared. We did this a couple of years ago and a little hint..

When you are waiting to go in don't look scared. One of my friends did and ended up the leader which isn't the best!!

So look full of confidence and you will be fine

We did it 2 weeks ago and didn't find it as scary as people have been saying.
The in-laws were with us and said it definately was loads better when they went 5 years ago, apparantly in the part with all the hanging bags , it used to be pitch black and there were people pushing the bags at you. It isn't like that now. There was only one man who actually jumped out on us with a chainsaw at the end and there is no chicken escape and no photos.

skull kingdom was on our list of must dos this summer
i wasnt keen so my hubby took our 2 boys (12 +14) one evening
they came back very dissapointd -
i had read threads saying it was very frightening but they said it was funny in parts and not ftightening at all

I notice they have removed the word 'family' from outside. it now just says a haunted -------- attraction.
