I'd like to treat my DH to this on our next trip. I don't want the Warbird experience, just a half hour or so flight in a small light aircraft for him. I'll just stay on the fground and drink coffee!

Any ideas?

Not sure if this is what you are after but there is a seaplane trip in the area

Allows you to search for flying schools. In my experience all flying schools will offer a trial flight of around an hour (though this may include the time spent on the ground in briefing) at a reasonable price. Some give certificates or log books or somesuch.

If you do it, buy him a pilots log book first like this

http://www.flightstore.co.uk/pilots_flying_log_book.pilot.supplies/use.id.5.item_id.366.dept.176.dept_l2.0.dept_l3.0/

and get it signed by the instructor....it'll give him the bug for more ;)
