Can't help with the February question, but we have stayed at ASMos three times so can probably answer any questions you have.
It's a fun family resort with larger than life theming. It's pretty basic compared to other Disney resorts but has everything you need and is clean and friendly. There are two pools (Fantasia and the Mighty Ducks' duck pond) and two laundrys situated one next to each pool. There's a large food court that offeres a variety of meal and snack choices, from burgers to pasta to meat and veg. Salads and sandwiches are available too and lots of cakes/cookies/doughnuts/ice-cream, etc. It also has an arcade (never been in here myself) and a shop selling newspapers, snacks, drinks and loads of toys, t-shirts, pins, etc. :D
Accomodation is in themed blocks (Dalmations, Toy Story, Fantasia, Mighty Ducks, etc) and the rooms are either twin (two double) or king-size (one king) and you can get co-joining rooms if you have a large party. The rooms have bedside tables and drawers plus hanging space, a sink area and ensuite toilet/bath/shower. Dalmations and Fantasia are closest to the food court, whilst Toy Story has a childrens' play area and Mighty Ducks has a smaller, quieter pool and is close to Music resort (so you can use their transport too :wink ). The maid will make your bed and tidy/clean every day. Best to tip ($1 per person per day is the going rate I think). We've stayed in Dalmations and Mighty Ducks (twice) and like the Mighty Ducks the best.
Transport is straightforward if you don't have a car. There are bus stops for each of the parks at the front of the hotel and a bus to each every 15mins or so. Buses run from one hour before the parks open until all guests are back to their resorts. :thumb: At busy times you may have to stand or wait for the next bus if you want to sit, but as the furthest park from ASMos (MK) is only 12-15 mins anyway it's not too bad.
Hope this helps. As you can see, I'm an ASMo fan!!! LOL

February crowds are really low except Presidents day weekend which is mid February, just avoid the parks these days and go shopping etc.
The weather is ok some days really hoy some cooler (high 70's) the evenings can get a little chilly but we wore tshirts and shorts everyday.
All Stars is great, the benefits from staying on site are really good, extra magic hours, Disney transport ( which is very good ), great for park hopping or just going back for a swim mid day.
We've been twice to ASMO's both times in Feb. Next year we are going in Aug but only because of schools etc.
Check out the trip reports below.
