Virgin excursions

Hello all :wavey:

I know when you go for the welcome meeting with Virgin, they let you know about any excursions you can book.
For next year we are really interested in going to the Everglades, maybe The Keys and some retail therapy at Miami. DH does not want to drive all this way (I don't blame him) so going via Virgin coach would be ideal!

So my question is, do any of you remember an excursion of this sort being offered at your welcome meeting?

Yes there was last year but i cant remember the price though

It isnt necessary to go to the welcome meeting to get excursions arranged through Virgin. You can also do it through your rep when they appear in your hotel. (or a nearby one ) They often appear daily. We did this when staying in the All Stars.
Now we arrange all our trips before we go with an online company.

We went on a excursion with Virgin to Miami last year (this was run through gatortours http://gatortours.com/). I think it cost about $89.00 per person but was defintely worth it.

They do trips to Miami and the Everglades though we never did those 2. We went on the trip that goes to Downtown Orlando, Winter Park and Celebration and that was really nice and we went to Clearwater to ride the Clearwater Screamer which was fantastic(beautiful beach at Clearwater).
We also did the shopping trip and this was a complete waste of time and money!! Check out my trip report (Never mind Dennis, here comes Mo and Emily) and you will be able to read about all 3 of the trips.
