Le Meridien at Gatwick

Can anyone help me please. I quite fancy staying at Le Meridien next July in a family room the night before we fly. I have read threads on here about some folks getting great deals and discounts but they used Tesco club cards (im an asda freak) or air miles which i dont collect. Can anyone tell me if they managed to get any special rates and if u booked way in advance or closer to the time. Last time i waited and the hotel was full).

Hi Maria,
the cheapest price we've seen for Meridian is on Holiday Extras site but they don't offer free parking anymore. Also I believe the hotel is in the process of changing owners so that may affect future prices as well.

Thanks for replying Carol, that would answer a few questions as everywhere ive tried they have no availability for next year. If they are having a re fit that would figure. Im just eager to have it all organised but will wait and keep an eye on the holidays extra website, got it saved now.

Me too, I really want to stay here again but I cant find a site with availability its so annoying. On holiday extras they have the room but it doesn't include parking. I was thinking of trying them direct but im going to hold out incase dates become available.

Did ring them direct and they say no promotions on and to ring back after February. Thing is last time we went we tried to book a family roon three months in advance and was fully booked.

Never staye there but everyone on here say its excellent and i only found the Hilton OK

Always use the le meridien , normaly book well in advance.

Can i ask if u got a discounted rate? i have seen 215 as the rack rate but so many people keep talking about discounts i dont wanna miss out lol

I paid £150 for a family room and with parking (dont need the parking).

Also i always book direct with the hotel but since its changing owners i dont know what will happen in the future.
