Can somebody please help with Tesco vouchers. I have enough vouchers nearly to practically pay for a 4 day break to Disneyland Paris but there seems to be so much small print that i can't seem to get the holiday that i want.:(

I received an email from Leger Holidays who do take Tesco vouchers but will only allow me to use them if i go via coach not Eurostar, self drive or plane.:nonono:

Travelling on a coach with two children under 5 wouldnt exactly be a good start to a holiday in my eyes.

Could anybody who may have booked a holiday and used Tesco vouchers, tell me if any of the companies do allow you to go via Eurostar.

Thank you for your help.:wink

Paris travel Service and Cresta both take Tescos vouchers in payment/part payment. Double check by picking up the latest clubcard offers brochure or checkout their website. We have been 4 years running to DLP by Eurostar from Ashford using Clubcard vouchers for the bulk of the payment

Thank you Jackie.:wink

I have been looking at the Paris Travel Service and Cresta websites but they both seemed to be having technical problems as they wouldnt let me book. I just wanted to see what sort of prices they were quoting.

If you don't mind me asking who did you book with going on Eurostar with your vouchers, PTS or Cresta?

Sorry to be nosey.:wink

You could convert your vouchers to Airmiles and book dlp through them. With airmiles you could travel by air or Eurostar and use airmiles.

Hi

I've just booked 3nights for the price of 2 at the New York hotel at DLP going via Eurostar with Cresta. I paid the majority of the price of the holiday with Tesco vouchers and had no problems. Just rang the number on the brochure and booked direct.

Hope this helps :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump:

Thats great thank you loxwood.:D

I will give Cresta a go.:wink

Did they try to tell you that the offers were not available if paying with Tesco vouchers, like kids stay free, free nights offers?

Leger told me i could only go by coach and the free upgrade and early booking discount were not valid with Tesco vouchers.:nonono:

I don't know why some of these companies agree to the Tesco scheme if they are going to make the offer so restricting.:confused2

Hi Leanne, with Clubcard vouchers you only get a holiday at brochure price, which is generally more expensive than if you pay in cash elsewhere.

To book any of the hols you have to call, you cant book online.

Hi Leeanne

You can use tesco vouchers with the free nights offer or the kids go free offer. We booked using 3 nights for the price of 2. Had no problems with Cresta.

Sorry - taken a while to reply. We have always used Paris Travel Service but Paris Travel Service (Bridge) and Cresta are actually now owned by the same co. They merged over a year ago and got abit disorganised for a while when they were merging their bookings operation. I think now it is all sorted. You need to ring up to book. You can get all the normal brochured discounts (eg £50 off for booking really far in advance). They simply put together the booking as normal and deduct the clubcard element from the final bill. Not looked this year (as we are doing Florida) but last year (when they were merging) Cresta had an error in their brochure giving Whit week hol at a cheaper rate than Paris Travel Service - I queried this as they were supposed to be trading names of same co (prices were identical in every other way) and they gave me the cheaper price (they had to as it was published in print I think). Always worth checking things through

Thanks Jackie and everybody else. Some really useful info.:D

We are doing Florida again next Sept but i really need something Disney to fill the gap from now until then.

Going to Disney on ice at Wembley on Fri so that will give me a Disney fix for now and hoping to do Paris early next year.

Cheers guys.:wink
