We are off to DLP in two weeks I was just wondering about the shows there. Its probably a silly question but are they in french, i wouldnt mind myself but i,m not sure if the kids would sit through them.
I know it sound terrible going to france and expecting them to speak in english. Any info would be great.

they are in a mixture, all the shows have some characters speaking english and some speaking french, and they are very good at translating the bits you need to know. So, if Pooh says in french 'where's my honey' then Christopher Robin would say 'Are you looking for you honey, pooh, it's over here' etc
there are a couple of shows where you have to check your timetable as some times are in english and some times are in french.

Hi
We were there three weeks ago and found all the shows enjoyable including our 3 year old.
There are three lion King shows daily two in French and one in English which you have to get tickets for at 11am that day or watch from Videopolis.(The English showing was 2pm when we were there).
Animagique has Mickey talk in French and Donald in English so is also easy to follow.
The only thing we struggled with is the part of History of animation where Mushi from Mulan talks through how characters come to life. There were English headsets but they were not very loud and did not fit on little people. However our DD was enchanted none the less.

We got back last night and agree the shows were not a problem. We were worried before we went that we would not understand anything but it was ok.
From tomorrow until 31st October there will be 3 shows for the lion king in english at midday, 2pm and 4.30pm.
For Honey I shrunk the audience the whole show is in english so you dont have to go through the door with headphones. Go to the front in the auditorium.
Have a wonderful time.

Don't miss Cinemagique in the Movie Studios, it's excellent, and again one of the characters speaks in English, one in French.
