Restaurants?

Please can anybody give advice on two great restaurants to eat in.
I have 2 x 6yr old children and prefer food like steak & ribs.

Also does anybody know which restaurant serves the infamous onion explosion?

For ribs, I don' t think you can beat Tony Roma's. They do a lovely onion loaf as opposed to the onion explosion. I believe that Outback do the onion explosion - they certainly do steaks.

Chilis do the blossom onion, it was delicious, as was all the food we had there, highly recommended.
Best ribs we had were at the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater at MGM, done in a Coca-Cola sauce, delicious.

Only 2 restaurants? Where are you gonna eat for the other 12 nights!!!!! Our faves (in no particular order) are:-

Bahama Breeze
Outback (best steaks in Orlando)
Olive Garden
Red Lobster
Rainforest Cafe (great for the kids)

Most nights we will be spending doing ADR,s or dining in Universal as we are staying at Hard Rock for the first week.

We only have two nights unaccounted for.

If they like meat you could try Texas de Brazil at the top of I drive near Belz. It's a Brazilian streakhouse. Kids under 6 eat free but mine was 6 when we went last Easter and we weren't charged for her and she can get through a fair bit of meat. You have a starter from the salad bar and then the Gauchos come round with large skewers with all different kinds of meat. You have a red/green disc to indicate when you're ready for more and a cute little pair of tongs to grab the meat slices from the skewer. My dd loved this bit! Nice desserts too and lovely restaurant with a good wine list. Looks very posh and upmarket but it's not stuffy and the servers could not be nicer or more attentive - very professional. We've been twice now and I'm sure we'll pay a visit next Easter too.
