Hi we are once again thinking of going to Disney Florida:D
My 18yr son had decided to join us this time so will need interconnecting rooms. Does anyone know which Disney Hotel has these and how much extra they are? There will be four of us, me, hubby 18yr old son and 14yr daughter so one room with two double beds in won't work this timr around.
Not sure which time of year it will be, any idea's on the best times to go? We went in May this year and we had loads of rain but the hurracanes started the week we got back which was lucky.
Thanks All
Hi there we had joining rooms at POFQ you will need to ask at the time of booking and again just before you leave.

I believe all the Disney resorts have interconnecting rooms.
The only downside is that you have to pay the same rate for both rooms.
I did read that one of the value resorts were starting to do family rooms but they will only be given out when considered necessary and can not be booked.

another option could be AKL or WL, as these have bunkbeds rather than your kids having to actually share a bed, or would they not want to be in with you at all???

You could always stay off site in the Villa - then you'd all have your own space.
As for time of year, if you're happy to take the 14 year old out of school anytime I'd say end of April/beginning of May. Make sure you she doesn't miss any SATS tests though!
If you want to go during the school hols, then Easter - although its busy or Christmas. Perhaps a week out of school then May or October half term would be OK?
I suppose it depends on how strict your 14 year olds school is about holidays in term time.

Agree with ChrissyG - its a villa for us
Hi,
All star resorts definatly have some interconnecting rooms it would cost £1232 for 2 rooms there which looks like it will be the cheapest disney option or you could go all out and book the boardwalk or yacht club villas at disney.

With regards to the time of year, we usually go at the beginning of November. Prices are pretty good, weather is still warm at this time of year and the parks are usually not that busy. We went in September this year, the weather was great (apart from two thunderstorms from hell on our first two days!) and the parks were eerily quiet. Not much difference in price either from November. Only thing is, some things (like a water park)are usually closed during November, just check on the Disney website to find out what is open or closed.
