Hotel with leisure facilities

Looking to have a night a way in a nice hotel with leisure facilities in the week the schools are off in October. 2 adults and 2 children in a family room within a couple of hours travelling time of Sunderland in the north east of England. I have been looking on the hotel chains web pages (i.e. swallow) for special offers. Anyone know a web site that compares all prices.

Look at wotif.com Doesn't compare all hotels, but has good last minute rates on it.
