You must do Las Vegas its a disneyland for adults. we went with the kids in April and then went back in July just me and hubby, Did the platters and coasters at the Sahara one night , a Hypnotist at the Paris hotel(cant remember name , adult humour very funny) then a freebie at the boardwalk hotel with a group doing old mowtown and soul tunes, they did three sets of 3/4 hr long from 8.30 then when they finished a Prince lookalike took to the stage (or maybe it was prince He was amazing). One tip tho is not to sit the stage side of the bar as it gets very busy and people get in the way, sit the other side of the bar for a better view
Sorry Linda, there is no cure....join the club:D

Sounds like a great trip, except for Washington which is the worst US city I've visited. I didn't get a chance to do the tourist stuff though so I may not be being fair. It's been the only town me and my mate both never felt comfortable walking round in.

Yep...another USA addict here :D
One visit and I'm hooked, though I expected it always had an obsession with America :jump:
I now want and will do New York, Las Vegas, Los Angles, San Fransisco, San Diego, Miami and of course back to Orlando.

San Diego every time!
Mind you, I don't know a lot about Phoenix - once landed at the airport there on the way to somewhere. Am I right in remembering that it's in the middle of the desert?:confused2
It's such an amazing place has so many of us hooked. I've done Ohio, Miami, Orlando of course, Vegas and LA. My next must in NY and San Fran, love to see Niagra, then smetime back to Orlando.

The USA is brill, so much better than Europe & the UK. It's addictive and my husband doesn't class any other holiday as a holiday unless we go to America.
We love Vegas, San Francisco, Santa Monica (LA) & Palm Springs. Also been to San Diego but not too bothered.
We'd also love to go to New York, Washington & Boston but need to save up after Florida.

Washington is beautiful. You're right though, in that once you get outside the central area/tourist/political district, DC has some VERY bad areas (some of the most dangerous in the nation). Still, if you stay in the major areas, you'll be just fine. Also, this is mainly just areas of DC proper...there are many areas of the Virginia, Maryland suburbs that are very nice to visit.
