Has anyone been to Yosemite Nat. Park in late November? What are the driving conditions like when it's snowy?

I've been told the HWY140 is pretty clear all the time, has anyone found it to be bead?

Thanks for any help.

We've been in November and there was no sign of snow even at Lake Tahoe which gets it first. Having said that the weather is very different each year and all you can really do is watch the long term forecast before you go to get an idea of this year's pattern. The roads are pretty good really. If you do get snow you may only manage to access the park by the main entrance. We went in the back way but the passes are so high they would get snowed up quickly. You should be able to access most of the park but would need snow chains on the car if conditions were poor.
It's a fantastic place to visit. Look out for the bears though!!!!!!!!!!

Hi There

I lived in Tahoe for 6 months during the winter and normally November is ok.

Yes 140 can get a bit snow packed but thsi is very rare as they normally clear it straight away. Unless it is a very heavy storm which shouldnt really happen until late November early december you should be ok..

Any other questions let me kno
