Port Orleans Riverside - bus stops/order of collection

Hi

Just trying to establish where the Disney bus stops are at POR and in what order they collect.

This could have a bearing on where we may request, as if you are near the last stop,the bus may be rather crowded by the time it reaches us.

I've looked at a few maps and they mark West, North and East Depots, which is apparently the last, but I can't find the South Depot, seemingly the 1st pickup.

After a bit of research, I may have answered my own question! :D

I think the South Depot and 1st point of pickup is outside the main entrance, beside Dixie Landings. Then it goes to West, North and East Depots in that order.

Someone will confirm or correct I'm sure! :p:

Am I also right in saying that buses call at POFQ first and does this mean that by the time they get to POR they could already be quite full? (Dear help those trying to board at East! :( )

they don't always go to French quarter first, but do sometimes, depends on how busy they are.
then to the main entrance by the checkin desks, and then around to the back, and finally to the mansions -not sure which is north, west east etc.

pofq is qute small and we never found the buses to be full when leaving FQ, it could be full at the mansions though

When we stayed at POFQ the buses called there first then did all the Riverside stops unless they were already full. I presume if a bus fills up at FQ then the next one would go straight to Riverside. Even in July we didn't see anyone getting left behind, if it is busy they just increase the frequency of the buses.
At the parks you will see the bus controllers going around with radios ordering buses for the resorts with the longest lines at their stop. It is an on-demand service and very well organised.

A few weeks ago usually the bus for DTD did riverside first then FQ, but most other buses do FQ first then RS, Driver though decides on pick up route in RS as sometimes we stopped at main reception area first( watch out for those speed bumps) but others we headed opp direction, but as said if bus is full driver radios for another bus:beer:
