manchester airport lounges

hi has anyone pre booked the airport lounge at manchester airport I believe it is about 18.00 each is it worth it and what do you exactley get many thanks

I get complimentary passes through my bank account for the Servisair lounge. I wouldn't personally pay for them as there is not that much in there. Last year, I had a couple of pieces of toast and a cup of coffee in there at about 9.00 in the morning. I didn't fancy making use of the free bar at that time, but other than that there was not much else to eat.

They have even dropped the toast now. You still get unlimited tea, coffee, beer, wine spirits etc. (fine, but not ideal at 8:00 in the morning), but the food choice is quite poor, consisting of crackers, cheese, peanuts, cake and other nibbles.

Whether it's worth it is a tough call - it's handy to be able to access the internet in comfort, but it's not as good as it used to be.
