Guys,
I'm looking for any tips you may have for Disney MGM Studios to add to the New DIBB website.

I have lots of old tips but I'd rather use more upto date ones. So if you have any tips for Disney Studios, Attractions, Rides, Restaurants, Parades etc and you would like to see them on the website then please post them here.

Cheers.

The Studios' most populatr attractions,Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster are right next to each other so it is easy to get a Fastpass for one and ride the other while you wait for your Fastpass time to come around.

The best tip we found is the Fantasmic Dinner Package. You make a reservation for dinner at one of 3 restaurants and get a ticket for (free) admission to a reserved seating area for the Fantasmic show. This saves some time queuing up for the show's main seating area and gives you time to squeeze in a few more rides.

Use Fastpass for the Lights Motors Action Stunt Show as it is very popular and shows are limited. If you time it right you can do the Backlot Tour while you wait for the stunt show time as it is right next door.

there is a great spot to watch the parade right at the entrance to the park. There is a small booth selling autograph books etc, with a radio tower on the top of it. You can stand/sit in front of the booth and the parade will come straight towards you. If you look at the ground, there is a metal line in the pavement, and you have to be behind that line.
This spot is normally still free when the sidewalks have filled up.

Bev,
Yes that is a great tip, we arrived at Disney Studios mid afternoon one day and as it was parade time we just couldn't get anywhere so we just stood in the empty space next to that central hut and had a fantastic view of the parade.

Only thing I would say is if you are wanting some good pictures then you may want to move to the left as the Sun will be in your eyes. Move to the left and the building in front of you will block the sun and give you a good photo opportunity

Get hold opf the parades and shows times and make a itinary of what you want to watch and when and when you will eat etc. The try to fit non scheduloed things like TOT inbetween

Unfortunately we didn't get to see a lot of the shows at MGM because we didn't make them on time or were doing something else.

Do TOT and RRC early in the day and not late in the evening. The crowds going to Fantasmic start to loiter around the entrance around 2 hours before the show starts so naturally people try to grab a quick ride!!

Queues topped 40 minutes at 6.00pm when they'd only been 10 minutes tops during the day!!

Have a lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine In Restaurant. Their burgers are DELISH and it's a lot of fun waching ol 50's horror movies in a 'drive-in' atmosphere.

TOT during evening EMHs is a must, the darkness all round adds to the thrill!

Oh yes, ToT at midnight is amazing. A CM told us that is the only time it does the full drop. The view of the park from the top at night is lovely.

Look out for the wait time at ToT, at park opening it is 13 mins.
