What age is a child up to on the Disney and Universal Tickets?

Up to and including age 9

was going to ask the questin as DS will be 10 when I go but small for his age would you risk buying a child ticket. I then did a search for it and realised this had been brought up before (very heated).

It was just that I was going to get my tickets for universal buying 2 adults and getting 2 kids free.

So do I buy 3 adults and get 3 kids free and have 2 spare child tickets or do I buy 2 adults and get 2 child and not be very good with the truth!

Personally i wouldnt chance it at Universal as they are "hot" on asking for I.D
My DD is 10 and would pass as an 8 year old but ive bought an adult ticket for her. Unfortunately i made a boo boo with her Disney ticket and bought a child ticket (she was 9 when i bought it so didnt think) but i am going to exchange it (perhaps for an AP) when we get there..... its not worth the stress of lying for a few quid!
