Hi Julie
have you tried tripadvisor.com? it is an excellent website with thousands of reviews on different hotels and holiday destinations. I am sure you will find reviews for destinations in your brochure.
Wherever you decide to go I hope you have a good time.

Hi Julie,
Have only been to Majorca and Menorca from your list.
Majorca is great for kids. Alcudia has a great beach and is geared towards children. Plenty to do.
Menorca is quieter and is quite hilly. Not so much to do but is a relaxing place. Not what the kids would want I think.
Hope this helps

Sorry Julie, after checking your list again noted Malta was one of your destinations.
We went there in 1996. There was very little to do. there was a lot of building work going on (Should be finished by now....9 yrs) Nothing for the kids to do. Have never been back and have no plans to return.
Sorry

We loved Turkey, but went before kids. It was great for beaches and historical stuff , not sure if there would be enough there to keep your kids amused. We stayed in Marmaris and Olu Deniz. Some lovely scenery, very friendly people ( they love kids ) and plenty of day trips on offer, we went to Ephesus, Pammukale & salikent gorge, but as I said, don't know if children would be interested.
I love Menorca ,itis lovely and relaxing. The roads are really quiet and there are lots of hidden beaches to explore.Mahon & Ciudadela are lovely to explore.I stayed in a private villa in Binebeca and at this hotel http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g187465-d238655-Reviews-Club_Hotel_Acorn_Almirante_Farragut-Ciudadela_Minorca_Balearic_Islands.htmlhis,which is lovely!
In Turkey we stayed at Lykia World near Olu Deniz which was absolutely fantastic-

I like Gran Canaria. Some pretty places to visit, nice beaches, amazing sand dunes and lovely weather. We stayed in the quieter area of Melenoras. Lovely!

We stayed at the Electra Palace in Trianda Rhodes 5 years ago and the kids still go on about what a fantastic holiday they had.
We went All Inclusive but you could opt for H/B if you wanted.
It was right on the beach and had a hotel entertainment team that was brilliant.
Rhodes town is only a couple of miles away as well which is lovely to walk around especially the Old Town in the evening.
We also have been to Alcudia in Majorca which caters for families and has a fantastic beach just don't stay at the Bellevue :D

Hiya,
Turkey is great for families if you pick the right hotel. We stayed In Marmaris last year and the kids 7 and 5 had a fab time. Water parks, boat trips, jeep safaris. Kids club was great too. The Turkish people love kids.
Also it's not on your list but our first holiday with the kids was to Club & Hotel Don Toni in Ibiza - a Thomson Superfamily property. Non-stop entertainemt and the best mini-disco ever - my kids still love the CD! They have Superfamily properties in some of the place you have listed.
Any questions just ask away or pm me.

If you really are happy with water and beaches then Menorca is lovely. You can also visit Mahon, Citudella and a few caves but thats it. Truly though...if you are happy on a beach Menorca is fantastic. We stayed at Son Bou in a private villa.
The hotels right on the beach in Son Bou were called Pinguous (after a penguin) and the other after some other animal!

we went to menorca in august and we loved it (me 35, DD 15, DS 13). we stayed at the club hotel aguamarina in arenal and it was lovely, right on the beach - you had the use of 2 large pools, a jacuzzi pool and a smaller kids pool or you could go to the beach. we stayed HB and they had entertainers for both younger and older kids - we would def go back.

Hi Julie,
We found the ideal place for this two years ago, although not on your list. Ibiza... away form the 18-30 crowd (sorry for any 18 - 30 dibbers) in a place called santa Eulalia on the north east coast. Fairly small town, but enough shops, beautiful warm beaches, most hotels are family freindly with entertainment and kids clubs. Needless to say, no holiday last year as we were saving for this years trip, but I would definately go backto Ibiza.
