Park Short Cuts.

OK This is to ALL you that know the short cuts around and out of the parks.

1) I am sure i read there was short cut to safari in AK from rainforest cafe but they are at oposite ends of the park?

2) the international gateway to get to Boardwalk (Beaches & Cream / Spoodles) is that defernatly between England and France?

3) is there a quicker way out of park from Fantasmic or do we have to walk all the way round.

4) is there a quicker way out of I.O.A. and U.S. than going through city walk every time?

5)any other short cuts would be a great help.

1) Pass. I don't think so.

2) Yes, the bridge over the boat canal is said to represent the English Channel. No Tunnel yet ;-)

You can also walk quickly to the beach club and get on buses to get places via the International gateway.

3) There is a gateway out at the bottom right of the seating area as you look at the stage.

It's possible, if you get a groove on, to get out of a 7:30 Fantasmic showing and get to Illuminations for 9 via the boat.

Also, by turning up 5 minutes before Fantasmic this trip (seen it oodles of times, so no ninja planning) we found that the reserved seating area was opened and we got seats just right of center stage. I actually liked the view between the two water screens for a change.

4) Walk past the Hard Rock Cafe, by keeping left as you exit IOA or Right as you exit US.

Lots of vouchers on the net for cheap Hard Rock food can be found.

2) when you leave france you go over the bridge and turn left, go past some shop's and the gateway is in front of you.

so i can walk through hard rock cafe to get right out near wet n wild. WOW thats great i can drop out of bed and land in the park for breckie now. silly me booked 9 am spiderman breakie at IOA the morning after MVMCP and we staying at holiday inn not far from WNW

Its the Hard Rock Hotel that exits onto Universal Bvd, not the Cafe.

This is a shortcut into AK rather than the safari, instead of queuing up at the main entrance, turn left go into the Rainforest Cafe, go through the shop an out the back and there is an entrance to AK there with a turnstile and a CM.

You will be straight into the park with no queuing, sorry I can't remember exactly whereabouts in the park it brings you out in relation to the safari but I know we made it to the safari in just a few minutes from there...

We are glad you posted as we plan to get safari done before breakfast @ 10am. if we can get past the tree we should be fine might do a flit through the park the day before just to suss this entry out. mind you can always grab a bite on way through rainforest cafe and tick 1 eatting place off the list.

Theres a short cut through HRC to US a seperate gate brings u out at Nick studios, although think gates only opened from about 11.30am onwards:beer:

So if i am understanding correctly
theres 2 short cut gates 1 from HRH to I.O.A. and another from HRC to U.S. do you know if any maps show these routes or am i wishfull planning.

Andy going to blow up an MGM map today trying to spot this path thanks for the tip about the boat. if i can work it right i can kill off 2 planned late nights on 1 night. any idea what time boat i have to catch.
