Advance Bookings - staying on site

I know that you can make advance bookings from 90 days and if staying on site also make bookings for the next 10 days.

Does the system work for Character meals? e.g. can I book CRT say 95 days in advance?

Also if booking via a holiday co. (Virgin) how will Disney know that I am staying on site?

You can book CRT 95 days in advance (or even 100) if you arrive on day 90. But they only release limited numbers of seats for this so that the people up to 10 days ahead of you don't get all the seats. And if you don't succeed, keep ringing back for cancellations and even turn up on the day in case of a no-show.
