Hi All
I'm after some advice. We went to DLRP in Sep and want to return next year.Price quoted from Disney is much higher than booking offsite and buying annual passports(which means we could return for a little extra visit:pgig: ).
I had been swaying towards Holiday Inn but have been advised Explorers is more child friendly . We are taking DD who turn 4 when she's there and her friend (same age).
Any advice?

We're just back from the Holiday - Inn and my kids loved it (They are 4 & 5)
The circus theme is thorughout the hotel but isn't overwhelming and there are spots where the kids can sit and draw/play while the adults chill.
We've been to Holiday - Inn twice now (with and without kids) and didn't have any problems.

we took our kids to the holiday inn and they loved it, the bunk beds have a little curtain round to make it private and a seperate tv, and there is a kids area in the restaurant, I would definitely go back again
also if you buy an AP you can get cheaper rates on the disney hotels, call back and tell them you have an AP and ask what the rate would be = I was impressed with the difference.

we like the holiday inn. We also book it independently, so book online. Have found it to be cheaper that way than dealing with travel agents, or anyone else.
The explorer's looks lovely, and very child friendly but the beds dont look that comfortable, and i have never found a good review on the explorer whereas always had good comments about the holiday inn.
so another vote for the holiday inn from me.
Also try using European sites and book in euros or ring and pay in euros
eg http://www.all-hotels.com/xbook/servlet/hotel-details?hotl_id=263737, you can link back to holiday inn and explorers from here.. The prob with the disney site is it trys to give you length of stay passes.. Its way cheaper if you make a couple of visits a year to take the AP.. Even the no blackout day pass is only a £100 p.p. and will save you the money in other ways within the year
