Krakow Poland...Whos Been?

Hi All
We are off on a short break to Krakow in February with the parents. Just wondering if any dibbers have been here. If so, what did you think of the place? I would be glad of any tips, we will be there for four days.

Haven't been to Krakow but been round the Poznan area which is in the middle of Poland about 5 years ago as I still have family over there. Poland is very cheap or at least it was. I've seen Krakow on holiday programmes and it looks beautiful. I'm sure that you'll have a great time. I have to say that although my Grandmother was Polish I am absolute rubbish at the language, luckily had english speaking cousin who I am sure was glad to se the back of us by the time we went home.

I know what you mean about the language. I usually like too at least say please and thank you in the local language, but I can't even read it in polish let alone pronounce it. :confused2
