We are going to Orlando mid February for 14 days and will be purchasing a 4 Park Orlando Flexticket.

We also want to do: Dinsey MGM, Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
Looking at Disney passes, the cheapest seems to come in at around £146 per adult for a seven day pass. Would it be cheaper to pay seperately to enter each park (2 adults and 1 child) or are we best buying the tickets before we go?

Many Thanks

John

Hi John and welcome to the DIBB.

I think single day entry is about $65 so for 4 single days that's about £150. If you buy a 7 or even 14 day pass you'll pay about the same with the added advantage of being able to park hop and spend more than 4 days in the parks.

You will get the best prices by booking in advance over the internet from somewhere like attraction tickets direct.

 welcome to the Dibb John!

There are tickets on sale in the UK which you can't buy over there and they are very good value compared to gate prices.
Shop around on the net and you will find some sites are cheaper than others.
A 14 day Ultimate ticket will only cost around £10 more than a 7 day one, but will give you the flexibility to come and go as you please, hopping between parks as you choose. It also includes the water parks and DisneyQuest.

Happy planning!

Hi John

There are a few sites that sell any thing from 3 day to 10 day Disney passes (including 4 days as you require) which should still save you money on the gate prices and allow you to budget for your holiday better. Try these two;

http://www.park-tickets.com/

http://www.mapleleaftickets.com/disney_tickets.htm

If you scroll down the pages you will see all sorts of different options, expiry/ non expiry, hopping / non hopping, with/without waterparks etc (the first site gives a good explanation of these if you look for the right page -click on the link "New Disney Magic Your Way Tickets Available" near top of page).

Gate price is roughly £35 per adult.

You should also consider whether you are likely to make another visit to Disney, and therefore whether getting say a 10 day pass, with non expiry, would be worth while, so that you could use the remaining days on another trip.

Hope this helps :wavey:
