Where to eat at Manchester Airport?

Has anyone got any recommendations for an evening meal at Manchester Airport, any terminal but before security? We are staying at Bewleys Hotel on Friday night and flying on Saturday.

I know that Bewleys restaurant is reasonably priced, but was wondering if there was somewhere in the airport for a nice sitdown meal. But nothing too classy mind, Iain is into pretty plain food so anything that is more A La Carte he wouldn't like. I've told him that we wont be going to Burger King though!!:angry:

We like both Garfunkels and the Brasserie. They are right next to each other so you will be able to compare the menus easily enough.

Garfunkels is great for plain food such as omelettes.

We haven't been but apparently there is a pub just at the end of the runway and it supposed to be very nice, they serve food and have a kids play area.

We ate breakfast at Garfunkels this year and I thought it was awful so it doesn't encourage me for dinner!
