View Full Version : Room Requests
As you can tell from the countdown, the time until we depart is fast approaching................. I have read on other boards that it is best to fax your room requests approx 4 days before your arrival. Has anyone else tried to do this? and were you sucsessful?
We are staying at the ALMo resort (DW, DD (3), DD (1) & granny), I am going to request one of the Toy Story buildings, connecting rooms with a courtyard view. Hopefuly that will give the room asigner plenty of flexability.
Also I have read that it is Pop Warner week during our first week! any one else encountered this group?

they do look at faxed request, however greater priority (so I am told....) will be given to the bookings with requests already noted ..... so if you have booked through a tour operator ask them to note your requests too ... if you have booked through Disney then call them and ask for your requests to be noted in your booking. Then when you fax over you are just following up what you have already asked for...... then expect to get there and have a parking lot view, with 2 rooms on different levels or different buildings and you may well be pleasantly surprised...... okay so I exagerate a little but you know what I mean!! ;)

we have got this at the moment-when we booked through first choice and when we booked we asked for adjoining rooms but we have since found out that the hotel do rooms with a connecting door-so i asked in the t/a today and she said to ring the hotel and ask as it doesnt say anything on their computer about rooms with connecting doors,so i rang the hotel and asked but the woman said our booking isnt showing up yet so to ring 2months before we go-but we have to go to the t/a tomorrow to pay the rest of our deposit so i will ask her to specify connecting rooms on our booking too!!

WDW resorts sent out notifications about not faxing requests last year. They have asked that requests not be faxed and that you either call it in or have it noted on the original reservation. Even before they sent out this notification they told me that requests are not usually even read since they end up in a pile of junk faxes and they don’t always have someone available to sort through all the faxes.

The email addresses I have seen for the resorts are for concierge guests only and go to their pre-planning department.
