Just wondered if anyone else had managed to get on the show at US.
We have just got back and my brother, Brother in law and I all got on!
Such a good laugh, although I did get beaten by my brother in law in the final challenge.

Dont read the rest of this thread if you want Fear Factor to be a surprise!

At the Casting you have to "perform" , saying why you want to win, where you are from etc and just show some personality!!

First we (6 contestants) had to hang from a coat hanger shaped bar 35ft in the air and the first two to let go had to do the "walk of shame"!
Basically you walk out on to a small platform , grab the bar and then the floor drops away and you are left hanging.

the four remaining contestants then get into teams of two. one suspended from a rope with a bucket. the other has to run to a tank of "carniverous"eels and pick out a bean bag, and then throw is to the hangin person to cath in their bucket. And yes the eels do really bite as I found out!!

The second part of this challenge involves the hanging person being swung backwards and forwards while the other person on the ground is tied to a rope so they have limited movement. The person swinging then throws dead, rancid octopus to the person on the ground who has to catch them in a bucket. the team who has the most at the end of the time wins!

The final is between the two team members who won the last round.
They go head to head in the " Stuntmans challenge".
Without going into too much detail! you have to climb a wall, collect flags, climb down a pole, collect a key , run to a car, start the car which begins to get hoisted up, when you are about 25ft in the air climb on to the bonnet of the car and collect 3 more flags, jump into the back seat of the car, take the rocket launcher and fire at a target in the centre of the stage. which results in a huge ( and loud) explosion and you are the winner!! There are various hinderances like water, balls etc along the way. and all this wearing spandex!!!

Watching it back was one of the funneist things I have ever seen, never laughed so hard!!!
