View Full Version : Lockers in the Parks
We've never used the lockers in the parks, but I think we will need to this trip, to store coats if it's going to be a cold evening and we are at the park all day.
Do you put coins in the lockers, or do you have to go to customer services or somewhere to get a key? And how much do they cost?
Thanks :D

Mazzy, in the MK if you go under the train station the lockers are there,You just go to the till and it cost's $7 and you get 2 back when you hand your key back in. They are quite big (we managed to fit 4 fleeces and 2 bags in with ease and then i just popped the key into my handbag. Oh and if you decide to park hop then just tell them and you don't have to pay again at the other park:)
Thanks for that Andrea. :D
Has anyone been during the Xmas/New Year week and used a locker? Just wondering what our chances are of getting one.
We are aiming to be at the parks for opening each day, but it's not easy trying to get two teenagers out of bed in the morning!

At the Universal parks there are lockers at the main entrances which cost $8 or $10 depending on size. You go to a screen, key in which size you want and how high you want it, and then pay with cash or a cc. It tells you your locker number and asks you to choose a 6 digit pass number - use your bithdate e.g. 04/07/66. You can come & go as you please all day by going back to the screen.
At Sea World and Busch Gardens you use 4 (I think) quarters and you have to pay again each time you go into the locker.
Thanks Andrea - that's good news! :D
Edie - thanks for that info, I hadn't got as far as Universal lockers yet, so you are ahead of me! ;)
The big lockers you pay for as indicated here Mazzy, but at Universal now you cannot take any handbags/bumbags etc on lots of rides that you could previously eg. MiB, Hulk.
You have to use little lockers at each ride which are accessed by a fingerprint or as we found out very quickly - use your thumbprint every time seems to read better:D
