please, please, is there anyone out there who has used this company and had good results? i'm not travelling till next sept, but have decided to buy our tickets now to beat the price increases. this is the best price i've seen by far, but i'm feeling a bit nervous that it's too good to be true.
Hi Tracey,
They are actually one of the DIBB Sponsors.

Thanks.:wavey:

I ordered from them on Tuesday as they are doing a manager's special on 14 day ultimate tickets if you order over the phone. £153 for adults, 130 for children.

But are there delivery charges and when will you get them?

Because of ordering over the phone there is a £5.00 processing fee for the manager's special ones but still saved about £8.00 or so doing it this way anyway and they're the cheapest around. If you want tickets other than the managers specials, order them online, no delivery charge then. No CC charges either.
They send them 14-21 days before departure by Special Delivery (which I told them was a few weeks before I actually go to be on the safe side)

we also ordered yesterday and told them a date about 3 weeks before we actually travel. Phil phoned so I didn't speak to them but I think he said we would get a confirmation email very soon and then the tickets 14 days before.

Slightly off topic but why do some of these ticket brokers wait until 2 weeks before you travel to send out the tickets?
If you pay them now for tickets for a holiday in Oct 2006, do you think they purchase the tickets now from their supplier then stick them in a filing cabinet until 2 weeks before you go. I doubt it. I suspect your money goes into their high interest account until 2 weeks before you travel!!!!!!!
When they say the dont send them out until 2 weeks before, I suspect they mean they don't buy them from their supplier until then.
Last time round I got my tickets from a broker (orlando-ticket-deals) who sent them out within 7 days of ordering. I think I paid about £8 more in total for the tickets than the cheapest I could find - but the cheapest didn't send out until 2 weeks before I travelled.
I am booked for Oct 2006, will order my tickets today and get then before end of Dec. Personally, that's the way I like it because I know I have the tickets. Now I could just go to the ones who delay sending out tickets and lie about when I'm going but then I need to consider if I give them the wrong travel dates, are there any implications for the validity of the tickets etc.
That's just hassle I can do without.

I'm another buyer who like to receive her goods when they are paid for and not wait.
Last week I ordered flextickets (£99) & ultimate tickets (£159) from ATD - arrived yesterday by special delivery (at no aadditional cost) and the week before Disney MYW tickets from Tickemania which arrived from the US today (no shipping charges).
I'm quite happy to pay a few ££s more for prompt delivery and good customer service :)
.....just adding I haven't realised that themepark-tickets.com were Dibb sponsors either - although that is no guarantee of good service - it would make me slightly more comfortable about using them if there were enough good reports :) I look forward to reading about everybody's experiences :D

I have just ordered my 14 day ultimates 2 adults and 2 children from them. By far the best price i have seen. Had to pay £5 for special delivery but still made a good saving.
One thing that i do find annoying though is when companies advertise on their website that they price match guarantee when they obviously don't.
I asked them to price match 365tickets on the 5 park flexis but was told that they couldnt, so in my opinion they should not be allowed to state 'guaranteed' as it clearly isn't.
Thats just one of my little pet hates as it made no real difference to me i just ordered my 5 park flexis from 365tickets. Big saving on any other company i have seen, no postage charge or cc charge.
So a happy bunny at the moment. I will report back if i have any problems receiving them.:wavey:

I do see where you're coming from BUT at the end of the day if I got the tickets straight away and lost them then I'm ******ed! At least when I do get them, i'll be in the final stages of planning anyway and will remember where I've out them.

The thing that worries me are the posts here (quite a few over the past year or so) where the tickets have not arrived and the person is flying in a couple of days. There are then frantic phone calls and tickets arriving the day before departure - hassle you don't need a few days before travelling. I have even read posts where people have stated their departure date is earlier than it actually is and the tickets arrive too late for the date they gave - but luckily they gave themselves some leeway.
Given the choice between me having the tickets or relying on a third party to control them right up to the departure date, I'd choose me every time.
I'm sure most of the time it works out as planned with no problems but its just not for me.

That's impressive Mo, what date did you give?
We ordered a few days ago, and gave a date of 1 Feb, and got a note today confirming the order, but haven't got the tickets yet.

I think this may be one of the reasons why thewy leave them till the last moment, people WILL and DO lose them if they are sent months in advance, meaning more hassle for the ticket agents if they have to re-book or re-print. I know this is one of the reasons some airlines do it.

I ordered my tickets from OTD on Monday and they arrived through my letterbox on Thursday. As a point I never submit my real holiday dates to any company. Why should I advertise that my house will be empty for 2 weeks between the following dates, there are a lot of unscrupulous people out there!!!
I have just ordered my Park Tickets - from themepark tickets - I dont mind them being delivered before I go.
I do not get them delivered to my home - never give my address out unless essential.:pgig: :wavey:

They insisted on having a date so I told them 10th Jan. They did say they wouldnt be dispatched until the New Year so thats why I wasnt expecting them as quickly.

Hi,
We once started dealing with a small company supplying tickets and they said they always sent them out just before you travelled so they were the latest pictures etc on the ticket but mainly so people did not loose them. Some customers put them in safe places forget where they are and loose £1000 pounds worth of tickets which cannot be replaced without buying more.
I bet its more to do with interest gained on your money! If people do lose tickets it is in the suppliers interest as they have tp purchase more!
Or am I just cynical?

Just ordered my tickets. The woman was v.helpful and din't mind when my boyfriend twisted my arm to change to the 14 day disney pass instead of the 7 day either. We have asked for ours for the middle of january so that everything is here before Feb. and sorted.
