I hope not too its one of the main attractions for us and the kids really love it.
It was closed "seasonally" when we were there in September, that end of US was VERY quiet and 'dead' as a result.:(

It was closed when we were there in October too, I was gutted as I was looking forward to it! We don't go in high season so will probably never ride it!

I would think 3 weeks before would not be classed as high season at,Easter
most likely the good friday week and Easter Week, would be the most
likely,why not e=mail and ask.

we came back in 25th Dec and the jaws ride had opened on the 16th Dec. So it seems that it will only open at busy times.I would have gone on but had a row with the staff at the entrance. There was no one on the gate as we approched and my daughter was on her mobility scooter so we joined the line and waited. When the staff member returned to the entrance he was nasty and pulled us out or the line.so i told him to stick it and went away very annoyed:angry: .I found most of the staff to be unhelpful in universal. The best ones were the older staff.I think they employ anyone these days. The looked like kids staight out of school. With no idea of customer relations

We went on Jaws when it reopened (16th December) it was better than before. I think the water cannons when he explodes out of the water are stronger. The staff member who directed us on (no wait straight walk on) said he was soo glad it had reopened as the staff miss it. I told him some brits wrote letters of support on the internet to Universal and he said please keep doing that or they will close it permanently for sure. Hope not as I really like this ride! (nostalgia!!)

:wavey: Happy New Year all!!
Yes Jaws was closed when we went in October and they told us it would open seasonally at busy times and that they are considering closing it permanantly to make way for a newer ride & until it is approved they will continue running it only at those times.
:( they should get rid of earthquake that was the worst one at U.S and the petrol tanker doesnt explode anymore!!!!
Ps - did anyone else still smell the banana when they got off the Mummy ride home of the old Kong ride????? haha xxx
