Hiya, I'm looking for some advice about the waterparks rules/regulations. Can my 7yr old go down regular slides with me or my DH or even her sister? :confused2 She can swim very well but has so far been too nervous to go down a slide on her own. Having said that we have a few months left to practice at the local leisure pool!
Also can you wear aqua shoes on all the slides or are there any that you can't wear them on?
Thanks :thumbs-up

At Disney the rule is usually one at a time on the slide - perhaps if she sees what fun it is she might try. When DD couldn't swim very well one of us would go down first and wait near the bottom to catch her.

hi
regarding the water shoes, for the first time last year my dh was asked to take his off on all the slides at typhoon lagoon. the only slide where two can rice is crush'n'gusher, we used to catch ds at the bottom of the slides. in the 2nd week he was not nervous at all:new_year: :new_year: :new_year:

Thanks for the replies. One of us will go first and one after her and I'm sure she will be fine. And thanks for the info about the water shoes.:thumbs-up

Most of the Disney water parks have at least 1 or 2 rides that have two person rings and don’t forget about the family rings where 4-6 people can go in them.

last year my 7 year old DD was wearing bottoms only to the waterparks as she hates swimming costumes and also the little tops. But, everytime she went on a ride they would ask her if she was a boy or a girl (she has very long hair and the bottoms were frilly girly bottoms. When she said a girl she was told to go and put her top on or should couldn't ride on the rides.
