Can anyone confirm if the ice cream social has been stopped? We have heard rumors that it may of been cancelled but can't find out for sure!!:wavey:

It was canceled or not on in Sep 05... we go back oct 06 and hope its one then, but I think i read somewhere that its finished for good. such a shame, as this is a bit "different" from the ususal meals....

Im afraid it has gone. We loved it when we went in 2004 - such fun!

It is no more, it never resumed after the rehab of the Land Pavilion.

What a shame. I've just been reading about in the Brit Guide 2005 & thought I'd check out on here to see what everyone thought about it.

We loved it - it was one of the highlights of our 2004 holiday and it's such a shame they don't do it anymore
