Villa rental company in the St Pete beach area

Hello all. Not been on for a while but now we are booked up and off again in July (yipee!) so its planning and DIBB time again.

Having our first week in Orlando then off to St Pete beach for week. Anybody know of a company that rent out villas in that area? Ideally a US company but a UK company would be ok too. I have tried VacationRentals.com but i want a bit more variety.

Most of the Vila sites have an Orlando & Gulf Coast section so i would search the sites high up in the search engines.

Try the www sptimes com web site Its the local papers and it has links. Most of the estate agents also do vacation rental.

Most property is condos, but you can get larger properties. In the summer the area tends to be full at the weekend, but have vacancies during the week.
Walk in during week (but staying for week or longer) can give good bargins plus they let you check the apartment first. You have a good position because you are booking for longer than a weekend (the norm). This is a big bonus, as it amazing how you can get a much superior condo, when you comment on the decor. not being to your liking. They do not want to lose a sale and very quickly give you the keys to something a little more special. Arrive with a booking and it's amazing how they are always full and you have to accept what they give you.
