As the CRT is changing next month, we've decided todo do either Akkeresh @ Epcot or Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare (or both possibly).
Anyone been to either and if so what are they like? Good choice of food for a 4 year old?
Thanks

Thanks for replying. Could you give me an idea of what sort of food it was as the lunch menu seems a bit weird!
Thanks

We did the Princess Storybook breakfast in Norway for the first time this December. Eldest DD is mad on Jasmine, and although they do not guarantee which princesses will be there, we were lucky enough to see Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Jasmine and surprisingly Cinderella. The food was excellent and you could ask for more (which we did).
I will definitley book this breakfast again.

We did the Princess storybook breakfast in Epcot last week. Having done CRT previously we found this breakfast very rushed for character interaction. In CRT all of the characters took time to converse with our 5yr old DDs but at Epcot not one princess seemed to have any time at any table. We were very dissapointed. Looking at various guides the CRT has a ratio of 1 princess to 26 guests, whereas at Epcot it is more than double this and it shows!! We would not do the Princess storybook again and intend to do our best to get CRT again for this summer.
We have also previously done Polynesian breakfast many times and have always enjoyed this (B4 Lilo and Stitch) especially the parade around the breakfast hall to music with our twins playing various instruments as they go.
I have booked CRT for our visit and to be honest I do npt consider it to be about the food. Its more about the characters , my DDs and location, location, location.
I am wondering tho if any of the girls dress up foer these events?

we also did PSB at akershus, and really didn't rate it. The food wasn't that briliant and we felt very rushed, and the characters spent hardly any time with the kids, and what they did say was obviously very scripted. We had mulan, belle, mary poppins, sleeping beauty and snow white
I think i would be tempted to try the gala dinner at 1900 park fayre, although it will only be cinderella at this one.

there were lots of young princesses in training at these meals ...... they are gorgeous !!!!
PSB is an okay meal, perhaps I am being a little harsh as we had been previously when ths had just started and it has slipped since then. As mentioned in my trippie, the whole thing was rushed and the princesses all used the same script ... oh where are you from? Scotland..... oh that's a long carpet ride, oh you'd be able to read plenty books on the flight from there, the one highlight was Mulan she was a star, she asked Teri if we had taken her to see the matchmaker yet .... and told her to run for it if we tried.
Personally we won't be returning, and if Teri was younger I'd give 1900 a try, but as she's 10 this year she feels the princess meals are for younger princesses than her.

Did you do CRT for breakfast or lunch?
Think I might try my luck at getting an ADR for there instead.

We have booked CRT and PSB for lunch - it removes the time pressure of getting to the parks early, and if by some miracle we achieve it :confused2 I would rather get the family around the busy attractions. I read on another board that the best tip for any character meal is to go at the least popular times as then you get the best inter-action. Its an obvious point, but it led me to make our bookings deliberately for the unpopular times - towards the end of lunch.
Any current prices for CRT.

All of the meals we are referring to are for breakfast.
Generally we only do character breakfast or dinner.
Even one of my five yr old twins pointed out "this isnt as good as when we had breakfast in the castle" as she was obviously disappointed with the whole experience.
I think at this stage you will need to be extremely lucky to get CRT for breakfast, maybe falling upon a cancellation!
WE have not tried the 1900 park fayre but to be honest most places would be hard pushed to beat walking up Main St and into the castle for breakfast with Cinderella, The fairy Godmother and a host of other princesses, all of which are prepared to spend some time making your kids feel like they are special and having a chat about what the kids want!
Having said that, the princess breakfast is the only character meal that has truely disappointed us (maybe we thought it would in some way compare to CRT!!).
