Universal Ticket help please!

We are looking at buying the Universal tickets that are on special just now. Buy 2 days get 3 free and free child ticket when another purchased. Would work out a lot cheaper for us this year rather than the flexi seeing as we won't be doing seaworld or Busch for a change.
The query I have is do these tickets have express option on them like the flexi's had . If not what about the new Universal tickets that they are now selling for us Brits the one week or 2 week tickets do they have the express option on them.
We are a family of 5 with 3 young children and queing for every big ride will not be an option as they will not queue for any length of time. Well the 2 elder ones might but the 3 year old just gets really bored.
If they don't have the express we will probably have to consider getting the flexi again as it will be cheaper than having to buy an express plus. Girls love Universal we spend more time there than we do in Disney however we decided this year to give Disney a real go rather than just doing 4 days.

Great thanks a lot will go for the 2 plus 3 days and free kids. We are going in October school holidays for a change so we probably won't need the express even if it is open!! But is good to now that we have the option if we need to use it. Handy to get a fastpass and then go and get lunch and come back to it.
Used the fastpasses more for things like One Fish Two Fish at UIO than for the bigger rides . Always seems to be a huge queue for that ride which was a a favourite of our youngest!

are there any issues with buying direct from Universal? i.e VAT/Customs and prices quoted in dollars (is this converted to sterling?)

No VAT/customs issues with tickets - your credit card will be charged in USD :)

Its a great offer that they have repeated the last few years. You have to put your card in a machine at the gate and it spits out your tickets.
Be aware that the fastpass machines may not be open however.

do you think this offer will be availabel to purcahse for a limited period or all year as it does say it is valid for use 'till 31.12.06?? Or should we buy it now for our trip in October?
