What do you think I ought to do?
I have booked 2 weeks in Rhodes with Kosmar holidays, staying in our favourite resort/apartment and now I have been told by a friend that the accomodation is no longer in the 2006 brochure
( I booked 11 months ago on the kosmar website)
I have sent DH on a mission to grab a brochure from a travel agents to have a look for ourselves before going like a bull in a china shop and ringing without the facts.( It is still offered on the website)
My question is, would you be worried that they are going to try changing our holiday accomodation at the last minute after taking our final balance( not due until 8th April)?
Or am I worrying needlessly and the owners of the apartments will be honouring exisiting bookings?.
Where would I stand if my accomodation is changed?
Is that classed as a major change and I could recover my money inclusive of deposit?
The thing is, where we ususally stay is ideal for us as it is on the flat in an otherwise very hilly resort and with my motability problems, I don't "DO" hills!!.
I guess I'm jumping the gun a bit here and my imagination is running away with me a little, but thought I would put some feelers out and see if any of you had any sound advice

I would have thought that this is a major change Lin but if they are offering it on the website it may just be that they have decided to drop it for future bookings (perhaps it's not popular enough). If it has indeed gone from the brochure I would give them a ring to check but if they are goign to change it they must notify you at least 2 weeks before (I think that was what I heard for the new rules the other day).

Don't want to worry you but Kosmar are notorious for last minute changes and not telling people - they changed our flights last year so we effectively lost a day - arrived in the late evening and then left at 6.00am:angry:

I would advise you to ring them and I think accomodation change is a major thing so if they're not doing it have a look and see if there is still suitable accomodation in the brochure that you want. Otherwise they might just stick you somewhere hilly.

Have a look on http://www.holidaywatchdog.com/forum/ I think they've got a bit on Kosmar in there? And http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/search.php?mode=results

Having said that - we're using them again this year for Crete, but keeping an eye on the flights this time - lol.

Yes I know Kosmar are right so and so's for their flight delays but we have been using them for years and expect delays, we get them everytime(they have never let us down yet;) ) but we just take a packed lunch and drinks, all prepared for the sit in!!!!.
I'm just off to ring them now and will let you know the outcome

Phew!!!
Everything is sorted.
Our apartment isn't featured in the brochure because they have added many new properties and didn't have room for it.
I have been told to only start worrying when it dissappears from the website!!
