Hi,
Were off for our first trip to DLP in March for DD second birthday, flying to Charles De Gaulle airport and wondering what the best way to get to DLP is.

Has anyone travelled on the TGV? It appears to be the quickest way to get there, if so did you have to buy your tickets in advance or can you just buy them at the airport train station?

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks,

Nursie.

We just bought them at the train station. When we arived at CDG we got a bus to DLP as they were running quite frequently from the station. On return we took the train. The bus was far more comfortable as the train was extremely squashed!

The train and bus (which CDG has plenty of as you will see!) are both easy to get. The tickets can be bought at CDG too.

Which hotel are you staying in? As most as easily accesible from the Train Station.

Also, the first Hartlepool Dibb'er I have seen! I was born there, hence the name!

Thanks for the info,
Were stopping at the Hotel New York.
Hello Monkeehanger, wow Brugge, you've gone a long way from home.
We were going to book the tickets for the TGV but we were worried about the flight being delayed and missing the train. I guess well just by the tickets when we get to the airport, there seems to be lots of options to get to DLP.
Nice countdown, 19 days you lucky so and so, we were over in Florida just before Christmas, DD first time (20 months old), absolutely magical with all the Christmas decorations, she was a bit frightened of the Characters at first but in the end we couldnt drag her away from them. Were going back in October to get married, looking forward to that.
Thanks, for the info and take care,
Nursie.

We went on the TGV in October. Found it really easy to use and got us there really quickly. Prefer it to the bus however it was a quiet train and I can see how it would be a little squashed with luggage etc at more busy times.

Thanks again for the info, we fancy trying the TGV because its only supposed to take 10 minutes from the airport, I believe the bus takes 45 minutes? Of course the TGV is a little more expensive. Where are you stopping elise, were in the Hotel New York.
Have a great time,
Nursie

Is the VEA Bus Stop easy to locate at Terminals 1 and 2 at CDG?

I've only ever been to Terminal 3 which was dead easy, but am flying into terminal 1 in March.
