Car fanatics!

We're going to Orlando this summer and I was looking for something special to do for my boyfriend.. he is an ABSOLUTE car fanatic and I would love to surprise him with something along those lines, preferably where he gets to go driving.

I've checked out the Daytona experiences and the G-Force Drag cars, these both look good, any opinions from first-handers?

Also, am I just imagining it or are there some form of go-karts on Disney property?

Any other suggestions would be MUCH appreciated!

Get him down to Old Town on the 192 for the "Saturday Nite Cruise".
Theres a couple of hundred "Classic Yanks" all built before 1973.
Brilliant atmosphere, loads of shops to browse in.......and a go-kart track.
You will also find this is the same place as the G-Force ride.

Theres also the many short oval racetracks that run stockcar racing on Saturday nights[also Friday at Orlando Speedworld] . Is he interested in Sprint Cars, those machines will just blow him away with the power and speed. Theres also quite a few Drag Strips that run on Weds and Fridays

The Richard Petty ride along experience at Disney is a great thrill, but I'm sure if you can do the drive yourself it would be more exciting, although a lot more expensive. I would recommend Daytona ahead of the Disney track as it is bigger, with steeper banking. The half price offer for the ride along experience ended on December 31st and that is why you can now find people selling it on Ebay.
