Helicopter rides ..??

has anyone tried a helicopter ride out there, and if so was it worth doing ?? Its not for me, i hate flying :cry: but my dh quite fancies doing it :erm:

my family wanted to do it last may and i wouldnt!
but i think i will in may as it mite be my last trip to wdw for a while!:cry:

We went on a helicopter ride, a few years ago, from the 192. I hate flying but was talked into it and I loved every minute of it, I'd do it again, we went over dtd saw loads we were up for about 20-25 mins. Worth every penny, we wanted to do it again last time we went but didn't manage to fit it in.

Hi, Yes I have done it with my Husband and 2 sons last year. Because it only holds 3 people my son's got to go twice, once with me and then again straight afterwards with my Husband. Myself and my sons (9 and 14) loved it. My husband on the other hand hated it and felt very unsafe. We did it from a company on International Drive and flew over all the theme parks. It was an amasing experience.

Remember to check that your covered on your holiday insurance. It should be okay but best to double check anyway.

Theres a place on the 192, near Old Town It costs about $40 each for a 10 minute ride that goes up near Disney. My hubby and son did it a couple of years ago, they thought it was great and well worth the money.
