wheres hot in March?

Looking ideas for a holiday in March due to the fact getting a cheap deal to Florida in Feb proved impossible due to half term.

Florida , could be a possiblity but wheres hot/warm closer to home in March as in over 20c or close to it?? We are going for a wk 17/18 - 14/25 Mar

Canaries, Northern Africa (Egypt v cheap at the moment, Morrocco, Tunisia)....er can't think of anywhere else short haul.

Canaries will def be mid 20's in late march. Egypt Red Sea will be very hot and shorter flight than Florida.

Are you looking for just rest and relaxation or some activity too? Canaries are a good bet for dependable sunshine and usually some good late deals too.

You could look at The Gambia (West Africa ;approx 6hr flight) and/or Egypt for cheap hols (there are a lot of offers on at the mo. for the Taba Heights Resort area.... which is the very top end of the Red Sea).

Tunisia and Morrocco could still be unlucky at this time of year due to the cooling breeze off the Med (though it should be sunny).

we are looking for rest and relaxation.(unless we get florida) Want something all inclusive 4*+, less than £300, cause we have to pay for flights to the mainland as well. Have been thinking about sharm, worried about the food and terrorism a little.

I agree with everyones Red Sea suggestion!s We went to Sharm El Sheik a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it!

you can book the Canaries direct from Belfast in March, or wait till April and book Tunisia where you would probably get a better deal for ALL inclusive, rather than travel over to the mainland
