We are hopefully going to try and squeeze in a trip to Hong Kong at some point this year.
It is obviously way smaller than Tokyo at the moment, but it is also cheaper to get to and visit.
You can get flights for less than £350
There is another big Themepark in Hong Kong called Ocean Park that looks pretty good.
Can't comment on Tokyo or Disney in Hong Kong, but Hong Kong itself is fantastic, lots to see and do. Ocean Park is great and there used to be theme park next door about Chinese history, I think it was called Middle Kingdom - dragon dances performed, amazing acrobats. The Jumbo floating restaurant is a must, we ended up dressed as Chinese Emperor/ess and the food was wonderful.

I need to do them all, I would call it a resolution. But it won't be this year. So far DLP & WDW done. Only problem is we liked WDW too much and are going back for 3 weeks in the school holidays. So think I'll have to save for the others :)

Have visited HK Disney in November, and here is the link to my review :

As said, we had a real good enjoyable day and was able to do it all in a day. Would go back again perhaps in a few years when more things added to it, but well worth a visit for the friendly staff, fewer queues, different slants on rides (esp. Space Mountain and Festival of the Lion King).
