Tarpon Springs

Has anyone been to the sponge museum at Tarpon Springs, if so is it worth the visit.:erm: :erm: :erm:

Haven't been into the museum but Tarpon Springs itself is worth a visit if you are over that way. It was very hot the day we went so we just had a bit of a wander round and did some shopping - bought loads of sponges as gifts! I'd like to go back though and spend a bit longer and now that we go earlier in the year I'm sure we will at some point.

we personally thought it was a bit run down and needed an overhaul. the place looked scruffy and in need of a clean up.
