Have we left it to late? Can any one help

I have just tried to book tickets for DC direct, but the dates that we are there for are unavailable. :cry: I have tried ATD they say the same too and have put us on a waiting list. Is it just a case of finding out who has some ticket allocations left?

Would really appreciate any advice on this

Just out of interest, when are you trying to book for? How far ahead are you booking?

We fly out on 2nd of April, and fly back on 16th April 2006 thats 10 weeks before we go

keep checking, I had a DIBBer looking for DC and all the dates were booked up, but we rechecked every day and about 2/3 weeks before they went a cancellation came up and we grabbed it.

So do keep checking.... and not just with ATD ...... I was trying several suppliers each day and it happened that Keith Prowse were the ones who came up trumps on that occassion.

Definately keep checking. This happened to me also. The site said there was no availability but then someone on here advised me to keep trying, which I did, and the following week I was able to get my date no problem. :pgig: :pgig:

There is always the possibility of a cancellation, don't give up trying. Even call while you are there.

Have you tried any of the ticket agents, I know some sell vouchers, wich is not good for you, but I think some can sell the actual dates.

Have you thought of a Swim with the Manatees trip as a back up if you cannot get DC? Have not donw it personally but I know that companies like Gator Tours run trips a couple of times per week to Crystal River. Might be a nice "natural" alternative as a back up. Try their web site

We went in August & didn't book before hand, I called them when we where in the usa i think there was a 10 day wait before there was any space !

Try to phone them direct you may get some sense.

When we called they gave me 10 day slot from that day that was the time in advance that they where working on, if your trip is 6 months away i can not see why they can not see why they book you as they would would take your payment there and then !

The vouchers are for entrance, but you still need to have a booking. A bit like having lounchen ovouchers, your meal is paid for but it might not get you into the resturant if it is fully booked.

A lot of the tickets will be in the form of vouchers, and this is usually fine as they are easy to exchange, and most of the dinner shows do not book up that far in advance, most don't get fully booked. But, DC needs to be booked or you do not get in and they get full, so if you have the voucher and not a booking it doies not mean you will get in.

Hi the ticket agents don't issue vouchers for DC, they issue u a reservation no it looks like a voucher/ticket but its the number thats important all ticket sellers I've dealt with ask u what date u want they then contact DC to reserve that date:)

Yes i have the vouchers for our booking and its all been paid for. I have to hand the vouchers over when we go to seaworld as that was included in with the Discovery cove.

try travel republic for tickets they sell proper tickets booked ours a few months ago for 9th april. there website is listing dates not available and we found there price the best good luck

Had a look yesterday and it wasn't showing those dates:( had a look again today and they're still not showing. :confused2 When did you see it? Steve phoned today and they only had 1st or 21st

Hi,
I went into the DC site last night around 11.15 and they were showing up.
I only plugged in 4 spaces and it gave the 7th and 8th as available.
I don't know how many of you are going, but perhaps they update availability around this time each day. Worth a try !

O.k great thanks I'll give it a try :grin: I have just had another look and if only 1 of us swim and the other 5 watch there is availability so I'm going to have a look tonight. As we are taking 4 children that would be a difficult one. Steve & I are not bothered about swimmimg
