Hiya, One evening we would like to go to Epcot for the Illuminations only. On the day we want to go it is on at 9pm. Official park hours states that future world closes at 7pm and world showcase at 9pm. This is probably a really dumb question :d: but what is the lastest time we can get in at and can we still get in the main entrance? Thanks for your help!

we did the same last year, we arrived at epcot after seeing cirque du soliel. we got to epcot at around 8:20 and they were still letting people in after then. The only thing i would say is that arriving so late meant that we didn't really get to see anything to be honest so next time we will arrive around 7pm
hope this helps

I would expect you can still get in the main entrance up to closing time. There have always been people coming in even as we were leaving the parks quite late.
If you only want to see Illuminations you may be best to enter by the International Gateway to save having to walk through Future World. Either take Disney transport or park at the Beach Club or Boardwalk and stroll over from there. It will be quicker to get out of the park afterwards too.
We have arrived at 8pm for the 9pm show before now. It was our last night and it was awful, raining, windy and as we headed towards the lagoon, loads of people were leaving the park!! Stalls were closing etc, we asked at one if the fireworks had been cancelled (last night disappointment looming:( ) to be told that it would take more than that weather to cancel them. We got a great view as a lot had left, got very wet, but a thunderstorm started halfway through and that made them even more spectacular than usual:thumbs-up

we arrived at about 1800 and had a drink in the pubRose and Crown in England, from the entrance walk to england, pass the pub and fish & chip take away and just pass the take away you can walk down towards the lake, this is one of the best places to see the fireworks.
