February in Prague - What to Wear?

I know it's going to be cold so I've bought a couple of thermal long johns and vests - lol - very fetching!!!

I'm a skirt or dress type girl though - I try not to wear jeans or trousers unless I have to!

Do you reckon I can get away with thick tights & socks with boots under a skirt or dress without getting too cold?? I sometimes wear jeans under a wrap dress if I have to.

With a longish coat I think you'll be fine.

We went in feb a few years ago.

All I did was layer and made sure I had a warm hat, scarf, gloves and winter coat.

You'll have a great time.

Yeah - when I got my grant this month, first thing I did after paying off the c/cards was go and buy a 'proper' coat, instead of the ususal thin things I get from Mk1 - lol - Lovely Sportsmax(MaxMara) raspberry, padded long one with a hood - and it is sooo hot to wear - I have to wear a T-Shirt under it in town. I do look like a pink Mr Styapufft but hey? At least I'm warm;) It ws pricey as well - £150 but it was reduced from £399, so I'm happy - never bought an expensive coat before and I can tell the difference.

Tried out the layering today as it was so cold - wore a black dress over a longer hanky style green skirt and pinned up one side - sooo toasty:smile: esp with tights and socks on as well.
