Universal busy days guide

Does anyone know of a busy days guide for the Universal parks (apart from the Brits guide)? Plenty of guides for Disney but I can't seem to find one for Universal apart from " the weekends are busy"!!

I know I have a print out somewhere of busy and least busy days but in July Heather, there really is no such thing as no busy days. The weekends are most busy. I know that some may not agree with me but I would go early and buy the express plus tickets. They were a godsend last year for us. Here is an article you may find useful.

Thanks for that Mags. We have always gone as early as possible and avoided weekends. last time we managed really well with express pass but it looks like these are few and far between now so will have to reluctantly consider express pass pluses!! Just read the link, thanks for that. I think this may be the last time we go in July as we won't be tied so much to school holidays after next year.

Ive just found this in the Unofficial Guide - its not date specific but states -

Best days to go in order are
Tuesdays,Mondays Thursdays and Wedesdays.
Not much help I know.

I'm kind of hoping that what I'd read previsouly would still apply - that Monday is the least busy day for IoA - but I guess it depends on the time of year: when we're over there in April, i don't suppose any day will be quiet....

Last Nov the parks were suprisingly busy, I went to IOA on Monday and everything was a walk on.

The days above are for universal Studios, it doesn't give anything for IOA.

Thats true. It was all I could find! I have been trawling through the old documents I took last time and cant find the page I want.

Hi Mags,

Thanks for that. I have also checked my old "Universal Orlando" by Kelly Monaghan but he doesn't really say anything different. Last time (July2004), we visited Universal Studios on a Sunday and had a great day!!! I think I will plan my Disney days first and then see how Universal fits in around that. All part of the fun I suppose!!

ps I haven't been on the boards for ages and now I am back in full planning mode and just can't keep away. trouble is all those "just 10 mins" somehow seem to last the afternoon!! lol
