This is probably a daft question!
DB and I have changed hotels and get a complimentary continental breakfast every morning. I've only had cereals before staying at a villa so what do you get with what they provide.

depends on the hotel ! some might give you a doughnut and cup of coffee, others you get a whole bakery to choose from :D try having a look to see if the hotel is reviewed on tripadvisor- most people go into details of the breakfast provided on there ( yes I'm one of the 'sad' ones who takes note of such things) :D

We had complimentary continental breakfast at the Comfort Inn. There was a selection of cereals, bread which you could toast, muffins, danish pastries, doughnuts and fresh fruit and yoghurt. Drinks were juice, milk or coffee.

If its a Holiday Inn then it will be luke warm tea, jam and a beer mat to spread it on!!!

At the Hawthorns we got toast, bagels, cereal (4 sorts) jams+honey, fresh fruit, and 3 cooked items each day, sausage, pototoe cubes, scram eggs, cooked meat type thing, and waffles, drinks inc tea coffee, hot choc and 3 different fruit juices.
It was great until we ate breakfast out and then mum here fell in love with skillets!!!! And the kids loved pancakes and blueberry sauce!!!LOL

We stayed at the Caribe Royale and their choice was a piece of fruit, a yogurt, a muffin, coffee and juice or milk. It's usually enough to get you going for the day

It will depend on the hotel you are staying in. on past experience it can vary from very good to absolutely awful!! Most are ok as a snack to keep you going till lunch.
