My daughters age 14 and 12 have never been into Princesses, but this past Christmas holiday eldest was really into Jasmine, so for a surprise we went to the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot. We had a great time, they had a photo with Belle before we were seated, then we saw Jasmine (woohoo!!), Aurora, Mulan and Cinderella. We had a lovely time, took loads of photos and the food was nice too :)

Hi

We went to both the princess breakfast in the castle at the magic kingdom and the princess storybook at epcot for dinner 5pm.

Breakfast in the castle was fantastic for my 2 girls one aged 20 months and the other, had her 4th birthday when we went to epcot.

The setting in the magic kingdom is magical and the castle is wonderful, both were great but if I had to chose it would be the Castle in the magic kingdom.
The location is what did it for me and my girls faces when we told them we were acually going inside to meet the princess.

We went into the shops as you walk down main St and bought them their own princess dresses, one Belle and one cinderella they wore them for the meal. FANTASTIC

We will be doing it again next time we go.

Thanks Mandymouse/tessdog

Think the setting of the castle may be the deciding factor..

The new meal arrangement at the castle does not appear to be getting good reviews for breakfast.

Epcot gets good reviews and if it is not late then dinner at 1900 Park Fare has Cinderella.

Can I ask the cost of the costumes? We are doing CRT and had thought of taking the costume with us from UK.

The new arrangemnents do not start until Feb 06 and I will be interested in any reviews following the change. Certaintly the arrangemnnts are questionable.

I was also unaware that Cindy would only be in the reception area. Thats news to me.

Mr BUK

The cosumes were quite expensive about £40 or $60 but the quality is 100 times better than the ones you get in the uk.
£40 was one of the cheeper ones it was Belle, but don't forget to add the shoes the necklace the music box etc !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had costumes at home but as it was her 4th birthday we did spoil her and her sister.
The shop is fantastic they get to go into fab fitting rooms and can try loads on.
A little girls dream.
Go on Mr B make your little girls day.

We did the sotry book breakfast in "Norway" and it was fabulous. The food was great, the interaction with the princesses was brill. We got lots of photographs and our DD was so pleased to see Jasmine (the fav). I would recommend it to all little princesses out there.

As far as costumes are concerned, we always take ours form the UK as they are expensive in Fl. We buy them either in the sale (happening about now) in the Disney shop or from Asda.

We did all the princess breakfasts in April 05. My DD was 21/2 yrs old. IMHO I was sooo hyped by Cinderellas castle breakfast, as it was so hard to get a PS ( Now ADR) It was fine and we enjoyed it, although we prefer buffett meals so we can choose what to eat. My daughter ate NOTHING, as so excited to meet the princesses. I thought it was a bit rushes and they only came around once, so I was eating taking photo eating etc... not that relaxing. She wore a cinderella dress, and it does make the photos nicer, in my opinion. We took shorts and T shirt to change into later. The castle does make a fab venue. However in my opinion, the best one for cinderella meeting was 1900 Park Fayre eveningmeal. We went at 4.30pm the earliest Evening meal time, They have the fairt god mother metting and greeting outside. The Grand Floridian is a top notch hotel and very "posh". We enjoyed exploring and it was much easier to change out daughter in their toilets, into her princess dress. You get to meet Cinderella Prince Charming and the two mice, Suzy and Perla. They came around 4 times during our meal. Its much more spacious than the castle, so Prince charming asked Elouise to Dance, which madde her day ( and we got great videoing!) The food was lovely and we were there for almost 2 hours. If you want to just meet princesses there are always 3 in toowtown tent, you can get autographs and photos. We always do this in the afternoon to get out of the sun. There can b a bit of a Q, but we get a drink and sit down relax people watch and chill. What ever you do have a fab time!!!
