I know what your saying however we had the most LOVELY meal there.
The service was second to none....the deserts to die for....the best part was
when our server told us about the private viewing area for guests and she
timed it that our desert was ready as soon as the fireworks were over.
By the time we had eaten up the park was near deserted on the walk
out ....capped off by watching the fountains perfrom without a sole other
than us.
A last night I will always remember

A Cruise ;) but apart from that we sat in between Canada and Mexico - it was a great view until the wind changed direction and then there was a lot of smoke.

There is a little 'secret garden' the other side of the rose and crown.. behind the fish and chips. that sometimes seems a little emptier than the rest of the areas...
Thats my place..

try eating at cantina de san angel in mexico they have some great seats right on the railings but you do need to be there early

Question... which way round the lake are you talking... as one way round, between Canada and Mexico you have The U.K, France, Morocco, Japan, The U.S.A, Italy, Germany, China and Norway... lots of places to sit...
and the other way round... well.. lots of places to stand and a roped off area for wheelchair guests right at the "bottom end" of the the lagoon..
?? just wonderin'

Can you stand on the gateway bridge to watch? I have booked dinner at le cellier and hope I have timed it right, by the time we have finished our meal we should have enough time to walk to the bridge, get a good spot and watch the show (at least thats the plan!)

Pal Mickeyt says the bridge - but I prefer a little further on there is a little garden by the water.
I noticed lots of people standing on the bridge as we watched from our cruise boat. Thats where I will be standing when we go this year. It looked like a great spot to watch from.

Can you ADR the Cantina San Angelo to get a table with a view?
I believe it is counter service so the answer would be no.

We sat on the floor next to the railings on the Mexico side of Norway. Gerat view of everything. BUt, like everywhere, it gets busy.
Top tip for those staying on site is go on an evening Extra Magic Hour night; for those not go into Mouse Gear near Innoventions on your way out and wander for 20 minutes (this is the only place that stays open after Illuminations on a normal night). When you haven't got to battle the human tide it is a lot more pleasant.
The Venice area in Italy is good.
I often sit next to the wall in the Rose and Crown beer garden (But get food elsewhere =)
Also the garden to the right of the Rose and Crown.
The bridge between England and France.
The lower area just after the bridge on the French side.
The thing is though, is that depending on where you stand you see different things. If for example you are in the R&C, you don't see it nicely lit up when that part of the show comes around.
Move about if you have the chance to see the show multiple times.
A.
Thanks for all your helpful feedback. It looks like we will be ADR-ing R&C one night and trying the "secret garden" at least one other.
Thanks once again.
